Vanguardia’s Alex Krasnic Meets The Next Generation of Acousticians

In March, Alex Krasnic represented Vanguardia and the Institute of Acoustics at St. Paul’s Boys school biennial Careers Fair. Manning the Acoustics table, Vanguardia’s Principal Acoustics Consultant answered questions from students about industry and how best to align their A-Levels and further education for a career as an acoustician.

Speaking after the event, Alex said “It’s great to see so many young people interested in a career in acoustics and already thinking about how they can make that happen.

“A career in acoustics has a lot to offer and it’s important that as a company we are part of developing the next generation of acousticians.

“I really enjoyed meeting the students and answering their questions, especially some of the more inquisitive ones such, as ‘what do underwater acousticians do?’ and ‘so how would you treat the acoustics in this hall then?

“I even had some CVs given to me at the end of the day which is fantastic.”
