NEW GERMAN ARENA LAUNCHES WITH SICO STAGES

SICO Europe’s latest Venue Maker stage installation has taken place at The Sparkasse Arena in Aurich, Germany.

The arena owners were keen to find a staging solution that would provide them with the flexibility required to successfully run their new multi-purpose venue. The SICO Fold ‘n’ Set system was chosen, despite tough competition from both local and American competitors, thanks to its speed and ease of use – features which the venue manager, Bernd Janssen, had already experienced first-hand thanks to using SICO staging at the nearby Oldenberg Arena.

Mr Boekhoff, Aurich Town Hall Planning Director added, “We are pleased to have taken receipt of the SICO Fold N Set stage, as it serves as a solution to a time and space saving issue for our multi-purpose hall”.

Officially opened in May 2009, The Sparkasse Arena will host a variety of sporting and musical events. The Danish National Dance Team and Chris De Burgh will be amongst the first to perform on the new SICO stage.
